DON BLUTH: SOMEWHERE OUT THERE is a feature-length documentary about filmmaker Don Bluth, the visionary behind the films An American Tail, The Land Before Time, The Secret of NIMH, Anastasia and the videogame Dragon's Lair (among others).  By weaving intimate conversations amidst hundreds of hours of never-before-seen archive and home video, SOMEWHERE OUT THERE draws a compelling portrait of an artist who spent his life battling his own ego and a career torn between art and commerce.  That the artist in question is responsible for some of the most beloved animated films of all time only adds to the intrigue.
